Battle of heroes
After the solid if average first Injustice, Injustice 2 brings a whole host of improvements including more content and a revised control system. The game has expanded its play mode to include a campaign which, while fairly short, offers a nice free play option. Online matches are either the standard one on one or the new arena option with a team of 3 fighters. A new control system is the best improvement, bringing a simple to understand yet hard to master element to the game. While there is a need to purchase upgrades for more competitive play, the single player and casual modes mean free players still have lots to enjoy. The graphics are impressive, although this has caused some issues with frame rates, especially on older devices. Upgrading favourite heroes unlocks new skins and abilities, adding a much needed sense of progression.
Huge improvement
Injustice 2 improves on its predecessor in nearly every way. Fighters being generally known for their precise input mean mobile options often feel dumbed down, but this title goes some way to correct the issue. Great visuals, more content, highly recommended.
